  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ cup onion
  • 1 tablespoon garlic
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon dried basil

For making the sauce

  • 1 cup canned tomato sauce
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon dried basil
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

How to Make Paleo Stuffed Bell Peppers

Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F.

Next, take your bell peppers and place them in a pot of boiling salted water for approximately 4 minutes. Drain the water after.

In a separate bowl, mix together the ground beef, onion, garlic, egg, almond flour, oregano, basil, and season to your liking with sea salt and black pepper.

Carefully stuff the bell peppers with the beef mixture you just prepared.

  • 6 bell peppers tops removed and seeded
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ cup onion chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic minced
  • 1 egg

For Tomato Sauce

  • 1 cup canned tomato sauce
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions 

  • Preheat your oven to 350 F.

  • Place the bell peppers in a pot of salted boiling water for about 4 minutes. Drain.

  • Fill the bell peppers with the ground meat mixture.
