2 Easy Iftar Dessert Ideas! | Gluten Free & Paleo | Amanda Asad

Ramadan Mubarak! I hope your fasting is going well. Here are two super easy and healthy (ish) desserts! Recipes are below.

Paleo Chocolate Chip Cookies –
2 cups almond flour
1/4 cup coconut oil
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp almond milk
2 tbsp chocolate chips (or as many as you like!)

1. Add all ingredients in a large bowl and mix
2. Roll the cookie dough into small balls with your hands
3. Put in the oven for 10 minutes at 375 degrees F
Tip: The cookies come out super soft and that is normal!

Date Balls:
1 cup dates
1/2 walnuts
1 tbsp of almond milk (I used too much in the video. You can add as you go)
1/4 ground chia seeds
1 tbsp honey
1 cap full of orange blossom water
White sesame seeds to roll the date balls in

1. Combine all ingredients in the food processor and mix until a smooth consistency
2. Roll the mixture into small balls and roll the balls with sesame seeds
3. Put in the fridge to chill
